I have a similar question. I don't have a camera with the white balance. I'm hoping to buy a filter, and I don't have a strobe. I was planning to buy a red filter, but I think I read something about the risk of making the pictures too read. But I can't remember the suggestion - maybe it was magenta?? Does anyone have advice? I was thinking about the magic filter, but our lens retracts when it "sleeps."
(I usually dive up to 40-60 feet and probably more in tropical water - at least my Galapagos pictures were blue!)
