ohhh, sounds like fun. Don't know if I can make it, but will try.

Kevin,
I'm still hearing that you can only dive the short span of the bridge, and you still can't park at Phil Foster. I'm looking forward to reading your dive report.

Scuba Dad:

As you pointed out, you can still only dive the small (east) span of the bridge and the parking situation continues to be in flux. As of two weeks ago, parking in the park was still limited to only vehicles with boat trailers and parking was off limits along the north side of the road. However, they had opened up parallel parking along the south side of the road. It was just a matter of gearing up, crossing the street, and walking down the boat ramp and into the water. There were two police officers in the park and their only concern was that I had a dive flag with me.

Unfortunately, I can't make Friday night from Lakeland. Anyone interested in diving the bridge Saturday night?

Too bad this is recital weekend, or else I'd join you. I'd just have to bring my 16 yr old to carry my gear. :eyebrow: I still can't wear my gear above water... but, put my gear in the water, and I'm diving.

's'ok, Kevin, storms are harsh; I figured no dive. Catch ya soon.

Not to hijack this..but hey Krista, how did you end up with (negative) photos?

Started reading this post, and thought i missed a dive tonight.

Kevin, i would definetly be interested in doing a dive at blue heron, so next time you have the opportunity put a post up, and we can have a go at it.
