Anyone know the full story on Blue Grotto being closed?

I spoke with Kevin last week and he said the water looked black.

Still black yesterday.

Jeez that is almost three weeks. I would've expected it to clear up by now.

Maybe it is the gods punishing them for banning solo diving. They ban solo diving, and a week later this happens, coincidence? :stirpot:
:rofl3:

I'm going with God's disapproval on them banning solo diving, and a sprinkle of disappointment on his behalf for them not allowing DPVs in the OW area.

You really think there’s enough room for DPVs?

Yes. I'm also positive I could drive it down into the deep section and back out without causing a silt-out, at this point.

Then again, I don't live my life and make the rules for it while giving deference to the lowest common denominator. I'm sure they're worried about some dumb MF acting brand new and driving a DPV at max speed into a class of students doing mask drills - I, on the other hand, was raised with some etiquette. I only drive my DPV into my friends at full speed. :p
