I have been to Cocoview 8 times and Blue Angel 2 times. See my website for trip reports and pictures. We moved a year ago, so we have not updated the site in a while, but there are trip reports and pictures for both places. You cannot compare these two places because the experience is so completely different. As mentioned earlier Scuba Club on Cozumel is a better comparison. I will say this about the diving; there are some pinnacle-like dives on Coz (e.g., Palancar Bricks) that are world class wide angle photography dives, and the sea life on Coz is very interesting on the dives closer to the shore. But it is a lot more work to dive on Cozumel from BA compared to CCV (Note - we rent a private boat for two divers when we are at BA, so this should tell you something). There is really no comparison between the dive operations because CCV is probably the best dive operation in the Caribbean (IMHO). We will be at CCV in May 2015; it will probably be a while before we go back to Coz. In summary, for us, CCV is almost a yearly thing while BA/Coz just every now and then. Your mileage may vary.
