I really enjoy my black skirts, but will rarely use my clears if it is very low vis or a night dive.

I have a mask with a clear (ok, sun-yellowed) skirt that is great for low vis quarries, lakes, etc. Couldn't be happier. But in clear Florida waters I'd much rather have a mask with a tech black skirt instead.

I used to have a black skirt, ripped it, didn't dive for a few years, bought a clear skirt. It seemed to me that it was a little distracting as others mentioned. I recently bought the OMS mask with the black skirt from www.leisurepro.com and I LOVE it!! Very low volume, tear drop lenses that make looking below me at equiptment and gauges MUCH easier and the fit is fantastic. Only cost $37 with shipping included, I am going to buy another one this week as a backup.
