Anyone know the current US black market value of q box (25) of

Monte Cristo #2

Coronas

Cohibas

Just wondering!!!

Jay

well... if you can get them in Canada and bring them over, you're probably talking about $300 per box, low end, up to $600 and up

if you can get someone to go to Cuba and bring a box over, you can easily get a box for $20 or $30 (off the streets)

ooooh! they misspelled a brand

should be Rey del Mundo, not "Ray del Mundo"

that brings back memories... of a Montecristo No. 1, my first ever Cuban cigar

I've paid as much as $40 a stick for Cohiba Esplendidos -

H. Upmann - very very worthy...

I prefer the dominican Monte Cristos to the Cuban Monte Cristos... the cuban ones are a bit more bitter.

dominican cigars are quite the treat these days

cuban cigars do tend to be stronger and more acidy

they are very similar in soil composition and in climate. Many cigar manufacturers in the DR use Cuban seed tobacco -

I hope we can get Cuban cigars legally in this country in the not too distant future.

thansk for the info and thanks for those links howard. What im looking for is current market value (what they might be bought for, or sold for in the US). In other words, if you knew a guy in Tampa who had an unlimited supply of the above mentioned cigars what might the average comsumer be willing to pay?? (=

i would say slightly above Canadian prices?

i dont' know

btw, i'm not sure how legal selling Cuban cigars in the US is ... i know you are only allowed a few (maybe two boxes) when you re-enter the US

and i think it's ok to buy them online too

I bet the FBI are already watching this thread! :eyebrow: :D
