My husband, 3 other divers and I had booked a 3 tank dive trip with Black Gold to search for megalodon teeth in Venice. We ended up doing only two dives and were to receive a discount on a future trip ( no credit was offered). Sadly, it is my opinion based upon his actions that he never intended to provide three dives. In addition, no discount was issued.
He was 25 minutes late to show up at the dock, had to stop 9 and waste another 15 minutes) for water at Crow’s Nest marina.
Wasted 30 minutes on him showing some display board that had some value but could have been reviewed in 5 minutes.
He said there were enough tanks for 3 dives. I can not confirm this.
He had never checked if we were even certified.
I was extremely disappointed this operation
