I've had my Stiletto for about a year now and it's been on around 40 dives. When I pulled it out to get ready for my most recent dive trip, I realized that it probably didn't get the best rinse before getting put away at the end of last summer. There was a white crust on the inside of some of the grommet holes. Giving it what I hope was a more thorough post-trip rinse today, I noticed that the black finish seems to be coming off of those grommets. Is this a normal thing that happens sometimes or did I just get duds?

Think it's pretty normal. The grommet holes on my Stiletto are the same way. I've been diving it since the model came out and it has never caused any problems.
