Ahh calibration. This is where the thread starts to remind me of DIR. The manufactures ( agencies ) will have an 'auto-convergence' feature. The videophiles (zealots) will scream that its not good enough and come up with the best way to do it via the Avia Calibration DVD ( JJ's Fundamentals book).

And for the best similarities... these guys will coordinate via online forums brining in ISV techs from out of town, putting them up in their houses or hotels and grouping a bunch of people together to pay for the service ( DIR-F class postings )


Course I've never had to worry about any of this with my directview CRT based television...
 
BTW check out this link for the camcorder of my dreams. It can record 720p anamorphic mpeg2 straight to a MiniDV, capture over firewire and burn to a DVD. Some screen captures are included. Just think of the home movies you could make with this baby.

Not underwater you won't. Its low-light sensitivity isn't good enough.

I don't shoot underwater. Besides, can you imagine how much they would bend us over for a housing for this baby?
