Walter:
What is strange about them?

The price, I guess... I have my Commander (circa 1980-1985) - it's a Brut, works fine, but I tend not to take it underwater - like it too much... Seiko is so much better suited for that... I also have the Paratrooper - circa 1990-2000... Mmmm... Don't trust it... Quality is lot worse than the 1980s model...

If anyone wants it - it's theirs... Will take a cheapy dive knife in exchange... ;)

I just found them a little odd... the bezel, the not-so-attractive graphics on the face... didn't mean to offend anyone, though. I was just curious if anyone was using them, I don't think I'd go for one myself though. As for St. Moritz, I think my M1 has lost gained about 2 minutes in as many weeks, but other than that, I quite like it... I think the occasional adjustment won't be too troublesome. I think my next will likely be a Seiko though.

No offense taken (even if I was Russian).

Remember I wrote that there were various styles of bezels? Well, the one pictured is the least attractive one, by far. The Amfibiya I found in my desk this morning was missing its bezel; it was obviously one of the more-attractive ones, and I must have cannibalized it for one of my other Russian watches.

The graphics? Hey, they're exotic, aren't they? :D

Though the paratrooper graphics are cooler.... Right, PAdiver93 and Aquadoc68?

Big Jet is talking about one of those 3lb diver's watches, the watch linked to at the top of the page looks like any old every day watch.

Tak Tovarishch, ya hoyche dva, Odin VDV, odin Spetnaz Commando Diver.
I like tha Para and the Combat diver and the Amphibs are 31 Jewels so they are a lil better. I don't know what year mine is but it is cool for $15, and next summer when I go back over I will search out the CD in amphib. it is like my old AVI. And like I said I was issued my Citizen Aqualand Duplex when I graduated CDQC in 98 and it has been on every dive with me since from Blackwater swift Yellow River FL to the reef on Key West, to freezing aced sub Alpin Lake in the Alps.

Thats a big MOFO VMF SSSR

that's a Thermonuclear Watch, guranteed by the Russians never to keep time
