If your not comfortable on the pill, try some other alternatives. Depo-prova (the shot) is one, another is (cant remember the name right now) its 4 or 5 little matchsticks they stick in your arm under your skin and they offer protection for 5 years. Every method has a side effect. My old girlfriend didnt like the weight gain with the pill so she tried all the ones I mentioned (and one I didnt, but I dont reccommend that method
For her, it was either the matchsticks or the shot that made her lose her sex drive. (cant remember which one) the other one used to give her headaches and she lost all her lubrication. She ended up going back to the pill. The shot was for 3 months and she went to the doctor to get them. And lastly, ask your girlfriends what they think.
