I have a Chute 3 and I just noticed that the bladder is not holding air for long periods of time. I can't detect any leaks in the valves by listening for any hissing. I also have an older Chute 2 which seems to hold air indefinately without problem. Is it normal for a bioflex bladder to bleed down on its own?

Can anyone suggest bladder/valve troubleshooting techniqes?

Thanks.

Listening is not a reliable way to detect small leaks. Inflate the BC fully, and hold it under water. Look for bubbles rising. It does not take very long for even a small leak to partially deflate a bc.
