Well people let me tell you, Bimini was great. The vis on most dives was incredible. The wife and I went with our LDS and had a blast. We stayed at the South Bimini Yatch Club. The food was outstanding and very reasonable. We arrived on friday and left sunday afternoon and our bill was $145, including the bar tab. The divemaster was great and knew everything about the area. The dive crews were great as well. We dove the Bimini barge, the strip, little caves and caverns, rainbow reef, and the Sopona. To be quite honest, I will never dive the Sopona again, that was the most boring dive I have ever done. The only great thing was the 100lb. jack we saw. All the other dives were great though. Anyway, I give the trip, accommadations, food, and most important, the diving, 2 BIG THUMBS UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you get on the outside of the boat, about 6' or so away from it and dig, you can find rounds that were fired at it in target practice.

I did 2 dives on the Sopona a couple of weeks ago. Daytime dive was a yawner, but not as bad as the Road to Atlantis!
But the Sopona at night was a great dive ......all the creatures were out.

Yeah the Road to Atlantis definitely blows... not really even worth snorkeling, unless you believe it to be in fact the Lost City.

As for the Sapona, I was the last diver out! I spent over 90 minutes there, most of that outside the wreck. Great shallow water algae and fishes you don't get on the other dives. Got half a dozen cannon rounds sifted out and one .22 caliber round that NOBODY could explain being there. I also found a snorkel in decent shape, and a 9-volt battery.

I can't believe anyone wouldn't like this site! They even filmed a porn film there!
