So for all of us that spent many years diving for the most awesome big Red Ab's up in Nor CA...... I'm guessing that a lot of us probably have a collection of shells in our yards and maybe wondering what to do with them... Anyway, like many...... I have a pile of shells and here's what I've done.....

For the outside of the shell, brush with acetone and let soak for 5 minutes then rinse off and you'll get a very cool "red" color on the outside of the shell. Then get some leather shoelaces and make a natural "hanger" in the already existing top hole of the narrow end of the AB shell. Then place a tea-lite candle into the "heal" of the shell and you'll have a really nice AB light gift! The tea light reflecting off of the "mother of pearl" is very cool!

Might seem silly but my friends that I have given these to really like them...... and it's a decent way to repurpose that plie of ab shells that a lot of us have...,

Cheers...
