I would go to the hardware store and get a stainless trashcan to boil it in over a makeshift grill. That's what they used to do when my dad was a kid for big parties. If you make your own grill make sure there's no zinc because it will kill you.

First I would think "what the f***", then I would wet my drysuit when I saw the pincers, then Id take a photo and get out of there, hoping it dont make more Dr Zoidbergs...

I recall a big lobster that was caught here in CA several years ago. It went up for sale and some pita freak bought it and made a big deal about releasing it back to the ocean. They had a bunch of press on the santa monica pier and they handed the lady the lobster to take pics and she was so scared of touching and holding it she yelled "BE FREE" and tossed it in the water.

The idiot didn't realize it still had rubber bands on the pinchers and it probably suffered a horrible slow death as a result!

Must be some scam. Why release an American lobster with claws from the Atlantic with our Spiny lobster no claws? Probably some publicity stunt or BS.

There are people that purchase live animals at food stores for release.
