Just picked up a Big Blue VTL13500P-MAX and did a few burn time tests over the weekend.

Video Mode Max Brightness:
Turns green between 57m and 2h3m
Turns red between 2h3m and 2h29m
Turns blinking red between 2h29m and 3h6m
Still on but very dim at 7h14m

Spotlight Mode Max Brightness:
Turns green between 3h38m and 4h31m
Turns blinking red between 4h31m and 4h48m
Turned off between 4h48m and 5h18m

Spotlight Mode Medium Brightness:
Turns green between 7h28m and 7h57m
Turns blinking red between 8h29m and 9h8m
Turned off between 9h8m and 9h39m

Interesting that it stayed on significantly longer in video mode than spotlight mode.

you know ....you have there by spec from your site 11 x XML LED + 6 x XPE RED LED ....(XML is spec 10W White 3.6V 3A) .... from your link above I see 3 clusters with 5 led and 3 spot means 18 leds and that is first thing that do not match ;-)

second I see no red leds which are different https://downloads.cree-led.com/files/ds/x/XLamp-XPE.pdf

and so on....

despite what the website says, there is no red light mode as far as I can tell.

from spec big blue

From point of view , lamp probably have step-up switcher for video which is not so effective with big PWM but on higher frequency that not disturbed video framing - and normal current driver for spot light but also on PWM to reduce consumption . More important is hidden , how it have driven thermal paths for cooling and if they are enough . NTC senses to high temp near led or driver and reduces power.
