Dove Big Bay Friday the water is fantastic great vis 70'+ and still warm enough for a wet suit it was great. :D

Yup..

Too bad someone has decided to go in and cut out allot of the previously installed lines.

We where in Saturday and Sunday Temps where 50 degress vis was 60-70 feet and no thermocline.

This was shot on a G9... I am a good 15 - 20 feet from the boat and you can see other divers a ways away coming up out of the dark.

By far this weekend has had the best VIS.

Now if you where only getting 30 feet max i would suggest their where divers in before you playing in the mudd :D

What day where you there? And did you by chance pick up a STAGE bottle yellow with regs attached that got left on the dock from a member on our team ?

we were coming from the north at 50 ft and when we were almost above the second boat we saw here silhouette, could not see the details though, it lies at 70 if I'm not mistaken

we were their yesterday

nope we did not pick any yellow stage bottles, sorry

Yea your 30 foot restriction on the vis i think was more due to the darkness compared to poor water water quality... I mean Just because you where sitting in 50 feet of water and the other boat was in 70 feet of water does not mean the boat was only 20 feet away. I believe its a good 40 feet from the Skidoo to the boat and we could see the Skidoo and the boat from whats left of the line going down.

My son and I were at the Morrison yesterday and I don't think I have ever seen better visibility in Lake Simcoe. We plan to dive Big Bay Point next Sunday.

Yea we almost stopped in for a dive on the moe on our way to lunch after diving BBP however the parking looked HORRIBLE :D so we kept on trucking.

The bass get BIG on the Morrison this time of year...very impressive. It seemed like unlimited visibility until we hit the home of "Silty McFadden" near the boiler!
