I had over heard someone talking at the site the other day saying they will just truck in all the gear and load his friends in... Drop all the gear and friends at the beach and then park out by the golf course ( not sure what parking limits are there ) and he will keep his bike in his truck and just ride it back and forth from the dock to his truck.

but yes, essentially the town is using the ability to restrict parking as a way to stop the majority of diving from going on.

Of course their are ways around it, I mean find a place local and car pool in, someone with a van or a truck could fit 5-6 people right, so you all come in one car and consider the $46 expense the cost of diving divided between the divers your paying 6-7 bucks to dive.

Thats the idea. I'm sure I can find some one living in that area who doesn't boat or use the water front for pleasure who can get me a season permit and who can use some extra cash. Diving from the beach is permitted and there is no parking allowed on any side road and don't even try to park in or around the golf course the owners are miserable pricks.

I suppose that is a good thing.....for you ;)

guess we all know who to blame for all this bs now because hes a bully

Can you please send a link on coordinates of BBP or the address (googlemap, etc.).
If I understood correctly Simcoe Article: Scuba bylaw passed despite opposition , diving can be cone without permit before May 15, that is now.
Anyone wants to dive? Thanks

Ontario Shore Dives also has min. info:
Big Bay Point
Just east of Barrie, at the mouth of Kempenfelt Bay. Take 30 Sideroad left just before getting to the point itself, and this leads to the government dock. In summer, this is a good shore diving spot, less than an hour north of Toronto.
So, where is it? is it approximately
Sideroad 30, Innisfil, ON to Sideroad 30 - Google Maps
?
