to the point... does anyone out there actually own a beuchat reg.
i'd love to get a first hand review on this little known brand.
thanks:)

My father owns a beuchat reg and he has been using it for the last 5 years regularly and never complained

It is not my "favorite" but it is certainly an excellent reg and I use it as a backup, loaner etc. I have no complaints at all about it.

Hey
I am using a beuchat vx4, ive been using it for more then 4 years and it did a good job.
I went down with it to 90 meters on TriMix and it worked fine all the way down withouth any change in the air supply or the ease of breath.
Lately ive got two Aqualung Legend regs and i adjusted the beuchat to be the pony reg.

Its hard to tell beuchat vs mares without mentioning the type of the reg but in general the beuchat is better then mares. I recommend it

Cheers

:) :) :) :)

Literally hundreds of dives on mine without a complaint. Only downside is that it can be hard to find a shop to service it for you.

Half the people I cave dive with use Beuchat regs, myself included. I love them. My VX10 breathes just as nice as my SP MK20. I prefer the second stages over any I have tried. I am actually foing to be buying two more Beuchats regs in the next couple of months.

Drew is right about the service. Finding a shop is hard. Good thing my main cave buddy is a Beuchat factory trained tech. He has taught me everything about them, and we rebuild and service our own regs.

I should mention that mine is a VX... with no number... the original, and still works just fine, thank you.
Rick :)
