Hi there!

Does anyone here have any experiences with the Beuchat Masterlift Tek?

Pros/Cons

Is it balanced?

Comfortable?

Easy to use?

The BC looks good though!

Nobody else has commented, so I will. I looked at a picture, and think that it has too many gadgets, buckles, straps, and adjustments. Get a simple BP/W with a one-piece harness. Completely adjustable, and you can do almost anything with it.

Later: I found a review with some more information. That wing is HUGE, 35kg of lift. Serious overkill.

Full disclosure: I am not a fan of jacket BCs. With that in mind, I would be reluctant to buy any piece of diving gear where fit mattered as much as on a jacket BC without at least putting one on dry.

I have to say in defense of Beuchat, that in my opinion they make d**n fine BC's.

The Masterlift Tec is certainly not everyones cup of tea, (which BC is?) but as far as construction and function go's it works a treat.

You have to decide what suits your diving style in a BC, but theres absolutely nothing wrong with the BC for the type of diving its intended.

What style of diving is that? It looks like it can't decide what it wants to be, so it ended up being a mish-mash.
