A few more days left in our Coz trip. Can anyone recommend a reliable tour operator for my husband to see this park? He's thinking of a 3-hour tour. We are staying in town at Casa Mexicana; don't know if the locals on the Melgar are reliable. Maybe negotiate with a taxi driver?

I will be diving so husband will be doing this solo. No tour desk at Casa Mex.

Thank you for any suggestions!

I guess i don't fully understand the question. You can rent a car and drive to Punta Sur and you can stop at the crocodile ramp, stop at the beach club and eat and have a soda (driving no drinking), go on the pond boat ride... by yourself. You can get a snorkeling beach tour at beach or just take your mask and fins and jump in.
Or you can take a taxi but you will need to pay by the hour and they stay and wait. Estimate $80- $100 US for 3 hours or $ 125-150 for 5 hours(plus entrance fee).

Thank you @NDL_Diver sorry if I was not clear. I was looking specifically for a "tour operator" recommendation that others may have used. We are reluctant to drive a rental car on Coz. We realize taxis are readily available, but felt a "tour operator" would be able to provide context and commentary for Punta Sir Eco Park.

Here's a couple of options. Both are excellent.
