Best way to communicate in PDC area?

Will be in PDC next week for some diving and my dive buddy is staying at a different hotel. Do the hotels/resorts usually offer free local calling or is there a calling card you can buy to use while in Mexico?

Hotels charge for everything....you can get a phone card, make sure its one that will work inside Mexico (LADA) adn then just locate a public phone they are usuall;y everywhere but inside an all inclusive I'm not sure
