I'm considering a dive trip to the PI, probably a group trip with a dive shop. Most of the group trips I have seen are to PG and Dumaguete, one week in each, or a single week in PG.

What are the best times of year for these sites, considering vis, currents, sea roughness?

PG is known for all year round diving, sky. But November is usually the best time to visit the country (in general).

I was at those two places in March, the weather wasn't very humid and the diving was great.

Ahem... MEGA DOR that is...

I was diving in PG 5 or 6 times last year and except for the Typhoon which curtailed diving for one day, the weather was great. The Typhoon Party left a few unable to dive for 2 days...

I arrive there tomorrow, i'll let you know what it's like ;-)

My mate is there at the moment, he said it's very warm, the vis not crash hot.

But he said the beer is cold.....
