Here a short video report of my trip to the Visayas.

Where did you dive?
Best of Visayas should include Sipalay and Sogod Bay.
Where is the whaleshark?
Best place to see the gentle giant is Sogod Bay from Nov to May.

It was a liveaboard round trip from Cebu City. Bohol, East Negros to Moalboal and back. South Leyte and West Negros was not included in the trip. And before I stayed 5 days in Malapascua for the tresher sharks. And I explored nearby islands like Gato island and Kalanggaman.

You ought to dive Southern Leyte(Sogod Bay) on your next visit.
And if you want to snorkel with the whaleshark then Jan and Feb could be the time to do it. I was diving there(Peter's) this Feb and the snorkellers saw more than two on every trip(4 trips in 6 days) ie 100%.
