Explain that please as Seatools lists the housing as only accessing MWB Shift.

So is the process you've described a shift. i.e. pressing the external knob "shifts" the White Balance to a preset point that you've set with the wheel prior to closing the housing.

Or does it do a true MWB whenever it's depressed?
If it's the latter, I might be their next customer.

Under Specifications here: Welcome to Seatool USA!

Electronic Control Functions:

Backlight button
Manual button
White balance shift
Iris
Shutter speed
Auto exposure shift
Manual focus
What's more confusing is that further down they list:

Convenience:
SteadyShot Image Stabilization: Yes ( Super; Electronic)
Accessory Shoe: Yes, Active Interface Shoe
White Balance: Auto/Outdoor/Indoor/One Push
Which either indicates it's One push to switch between Auto/Outdoor/Indoor (Shift) only, or that it is a One Push MWB function.

With the Seatool housing the only the White Balance SHIFT can be accessed. The only way to access Manual White Balance on the HC7 camera is via the LCD screen as Gates and Light & Motion have done with their push button controls.
