My wife & I are planning a trip south again this year, but we really would like to hit a spot with some great diving and lots of sea life. Any of you guys out there have any suggestions on caribbean vacation spots with fantastic diving??

My three favorites are: Little Cayman, Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands and Cozumel. It really depends on what you have to spend and what you want to see. What's your budget? Do you want nightlife or is it all about the diving? You want big stuff or is little stuff enough?

There are still many places that I want to dive but I have seen places like the Red Sea, Australia, Thailand, Philippines, Cuba, the Mediterranean, Micronesia, Yap, Cook Islands etc.
But, if diving is the main thing for Your trip Palau is the place to go - nothing beats Palau.
The only sad thing about Palau is that there is almost nothing else to do there except diving.
Wherever You end up going - have a nice trip !!!

I like diving Salt Cay (Turks & Caicos), been there 4 times now. I like the diving, wall diving and the fact we can do unlimited night dives which my wife and I like to do. We like the laid back attitude(island time) and the quiet evenings. With our jobs, Salt Cay is like returning to the 1960s, no casinos, very little loud music and parties and no pagers or telephones. You get around the island on bicycles/golf carts. We are ready to go back again.
What ever you decide, enjoy and dive safely!
