I know there are a million threads on bonaire and accomodations. I've stayed there twice already. It's just me and my son going, so we dont' need much more than air conditioning. :) I'd rather spend my saved $ on eating out around the island. I already have tanks, truck, airfare done. (may 13-20)

Just seeing what people have used that they're really like recently. I don't want something that's a long drive from the airport area (Iike up on the hills, etc).

Can't wait to get back...

Thanks,
Bill

Well, my mother decided she wanted to go and snorkel/relax. So I ended up just renting the same place as last year...'you and sea' bonaire. Great location and it was a very convenient/clean/relaxing place. Can't wait to get back.

We stayed at Bonaire Exclusive Bungalows when we went a couple years ago. We rented Bungalow 19 and it was simple, but everything we needed. Two bedrooms with a/c but no a/c in the main living area. The outdoor space was great (outdoor shower, large table on the patio, lounge chairs) and the neighbors we met were very friendly. I believe we paid around $750 USD for 7 nights.

Hamlet Oasis might be to your liking. Inexpensive. On the water with easy access to the Cliff dive site. Adjacent to a Dive Friends Bonaire shop. Close to all the northern dive sites and still close to town. In the same neighborhood as Captain Don's, Buddy's and Den Laman. grocery store across the street and plenty of restaurants around: Accomodation Bonaire Apartments: Holiday Rentals, Diving Bonaire Vacation Home

Thanks for the replies! We ended up at you and sea bonaire (again) since my mother decided to go with us and snorkel. Can't wait till May!!
