I carry the aqualung roll up snorkel in a pocket. I do lots of drift and shore diving. If I have long surface swim to shore, or have to wait for the boat to get me in choppy water, I can deploy the snorkel and just stick it under my mask strap which is a good comfort and safety thing. I never, ever actually wear it on my mask during a dive.

because I have to , I carry an avid its very small and fits in the bc pocket I forget its there
