Just wondering if anybody has recommendations for a good guidebook to identify and learn a bit about the marine life in GBR?
I am not looking for a book for a Marine Biology phd student, but a reasonably comprehensive book about the most typical fish found in GBR with pics and short descriptions would be lovely.
For my dives back in Koh Similan, Thailand, I had used debelius' Indian Ocean reef guide. It was quite a bit comprehensive, and I loved the wealth of info. found therein, though as a result it was also a tad unwieldy to carry around.
Any suggestions anyone?
