So far from the reviews I've seen, I'd have to go with the Mares Vector Origin. Any other suggestions?

PS : $178.00 on LeisurePro.com

If you're on a limited budget, why don't you take a look at 2nd hand BCD's?

I didn't know anybody made a BC that inexpensive.

u can get the wave or the silhouette from aqualung or sherwood... but be nice to your self... if your renting good BC... if your buying just wait and get a step up for a little more...

get a triple-l, they appear and sound to be just as good as major brands, the Orion is very similar to the Zeagle Ranger, a top notch BC. I know there are many happy owners of triple-L BCD's here.

My group all dive Triple-L gear. Their wetsuit prices are great as well.. good quality stuff.

I use Triple-L's Instructor BCD which is an upgraded Stratos, cost is about $167.00 (includes shipping in the US). I have no complaints, it is a solid product.

I'll second this. I have seen alot of great used BC's at various diveshops. Call or E-mail www.divesports.com and ask if they have any used BC's for sale, they always inspect used gear in detail before they sell it. Ebay is also another option, but I always consider that chancy.
