Jason Ooi:
I used Halcyon scout backup light, never try Salvo yet...I can't find in Hong Kong market?
Right there is a business opportunity for you./.?

wet-willie:
Anyone know if that SL4 LED head fits the Salvo light?

Willie

My understanding so far is that it is a drop-in. so yes, it fits supposedly perfect/identical.

Got my PT's. They are far better built than the scouts! and cheaper. The grips make me feel like I'm holding onto rough sandpaper and the feeling that I won't drop it.... but it's kinda difficult to put in and take out of the inner tube on my harness with 1 hand.... how do you guys do it? or am I supposed to use both hands? :D

Those Hesers look NICE! But... OUCH. 169 euros? I can't quite see them as worth nearly double the cost of the Photons. (approx $220 vs. $140).

I thought the hessers have aluminium somewhere in them? but you're right, just don't see how any other manufacturer can charge the way they do in comparison to the quality of the Photons.

The Hesers have an aluminum tube inside as some kind of heat sink. The quality of workmanship on them is gobsmacking.

But the Photon LED is still the better light.
