Beqa Lagoon Resort--August or January?

Is there a lot of shore diving to be done on Beqa?

I was thinking of Vanuatu but there is no real shore diving there, guess due to the currents. I realize it is those currents that also give that area it's beauty so it's a 2 edged sword....

A 20 hr plane ride is a LONG way to go for 10 dives (2 boat dives per day- if the weather cooperates). I have read/heard that there is shore diving available at Beqa.

Muck diving as the viz drops to about 30ft to 40ft near shore, but I have shot a lot of great macro going south from the resort... You can find a lot of cool stuff and I do about 13 to 15 dives per week!
