Does anyone know if this book changed much between the 4th and 5th (current) edition?

Thanks for the reply. Looks like it's definitely worth getting the 5th edition over the 4th.The preface to the 5th edition sums the changes up well but you may have to buy the book to get that. Dr. Mike Bennett wrote a nice review of it after it came out though, and it's linked below.

If you're a physician, have you considered the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society's course offerings?Thank you for the advice Dr Mitchell . I just order the DSM.
In Italy only Anaethetists are able to obtain a master in hyperbaric medicine. Now in UK, looks very expensive to justify me performing the course only because my interest. I want to read more about physiology in diving and deep diving
