Reminds me of an old Far Side comic with dogs all lined up to start a swim competition. The dog announcer says "And it's a good bet most of these contestants will select the dog paddle".

My favorite part is in the helmet breakdown. "Rubber Plug (Removed to Feed Benji)" I just imagine a dog with a helmet full of kibbles lol.

Well Benji was using a rec-divers kit... Most likely doing a discover scuba dive... As you can see in the photo of my cat... He is a wearing a tech-divers kit with a CCR, And does deep deco Tri-mix wreck dives with penetration... He has years of training and I in no way think you should be bring your pets that deep without getting the training for them.. Hehee

Maybe Benji could some tec training with you cat... I'm sure he'd like to chase him!

It would be at least 2 years and 100+ dives before Benji would be safe to start penetration of deep wrecks on tri-mix.. If he did nothing but dive on a CCR and worked with John Chatterton he could have all his cards in a year... But I still don't know if Felix the cat would take him on the harder dives... Benji would need to prove himself on easy wrecks like the USS Spiegel Grove ... Then and only then would we start talking about the Doria...

Benji is not DIR but he has his DOG cert, would that help?
