Our vacation budget was blown this summer on scuba trips to Hawaii and the Florida Keys.

I'm glad I went, but on both trips I found myself wistfully wishing I was back in Belize.

There's an outside chance we'll do Cozumel again next summer, but I'm betting we head for Belize instead. It's just too strange to be on vacation daydreaming about being somewhere else.

Things are great out here Letter Boy. Ian is doing several courses and we are diving every day in 85 degree waters. And yes, the manatees are feeding in an area right off the front of the caye and have been for the last few days. We also saw two of them mating on a snorkel out to Tobacco Caye Cut. Very incredible! Looked like something out of National Geographic.
