Hi, PPD. I've been off the board for quite a while. I dare not even ask what's been going on.

I finally got the bcd and while I was waiting for it to get 'couriered' from the US I ended up purchasing the gauges and a 2nd-hand regulator (so if anyone ever finds a micra with ed medina on it, it's mine ). I'll practice with the new gear next week and will be up for a real, honest-to-goodness dive anytime work allows (and I do mean anytime).

I am quite unfamiliar with the Philippine diving industry (I know, I know, it's shameful). So if anyone out there is kind enough to give this newbie a guiding hand...

... oh, and I'm NOT ed medina.

Long time no see..

We are having a big gathering in Anilao May19-21 if you want to come down for that. Most of the PPD will be there, even some of us foreign pasaways...

If you don't want to sift through all the posts in the DOR IV thread... PM clgsamson, he seems to be the cat herder. hahaha

as for me i would be at Portulano thursaday april 13 to 15 then ,

a posssible daytrip on tuesday with jonix

Wednesday April 19 to 20 with alex for his rescue class

then most probably 21st to 23rd hang around the resort.

on the 28th and 29th i would be at Bolinao , Pangasinan at a resort called Puerto Del Sol. it's relatively new resort... still thinking if i would do some diving there......

ask any of hte regualrs pasaways for my cel if you intend to hop to portulano on any of those dates. oh and SB member rarediver would be at portulano on monday for several days with his family.

start arranging your flight skeds so you can go to aquav on may 19-21... would be great to see and meet you!

things to know about philippine dive industry:

1) PPD rocks...
2) don't subscribe to diversions unless you like watching petty politics at work
3) Jag's gwapo
4) Maui Taylor is AOW
5) Brad Turvey is a DM
6) Most pinoy divers don't know SB exists...
