My wife and I have been out there for dinner twice. Not the cheapest dinner in the world, but it's a nice evening. The tender boat picks you up at the north marina and takes you to the boat, you can take a tour of the whole boat (except the engine room which really frustrated my engineer neighbor), full bar, and then dinner either outside on the deck or inside in the library. Nice boat, I think it started out as an icebreaker for the Canadian Navy, one of the Cousteau's owned it for awhile, it's now privately owned by a guy from the U.S., we met him onboard one time, really nice guy who told a lot of stories about the retrofit and everything. You order your meal beforehand, and the food is good. I recommend it, have fun!

Haven’t been on it , but a friend who went (and did research beforehand ) enjoyed it. Her research seemed to show reviews were about 90 percent positive with a 10 percent chance of catching them on an off night.

Or... there's just no pleasing some people and 10% would fall, very comfortably, into this category.

Thanks!

I see they have a Facebook page, what is the best way to get a reservation / order for food in with them?

I followed the link in the first post, and I believe I saw a reservation button on their FB page.

I messaged to them on WhatsApp, this is what I got back as far as menu and information

--------

Good morning, here is some information about the Beauport experience.

We have a dinner service on board, where the menu changes monthly and is 3 courses.

It costs $1,250.00 pesos, drinks and tip are not included.

You can choose a dish from the 3 options we have for starter, main course and dessert. (We have a vegetarian option and a children's menu). It is important to send the menu options in advance.

We do not have corkage service. We have a wine menu with diverse selections, a mixology menu, and national and international drinks.

The beauport experience is recommended for ages 7 and up.

If it is of your interest, we would make the reservation for the day and time you prefer. However, reservations are subject to availability.

It is important to know that the first tender service to Beauport is at 5:00 pm and then every half hour.

Monday and Tuesday we do not serve dinners.

To confirm your reservation, a 50% advance payment is required. Once payment has been made, your reservation will be confirmed and we will send you boarding instructions.

💵 Payment can be by wire transfer, a linkf of payment with card or cash directly at the office.

📆 Reservations are made at least 12 hours in advance.

⛴️ We start with a tour inside the boat that lasts approximately 30 minutes (you will have to take off your shoes to see the interior of Beauport) and then we accompany you to your table to enjoy dinner.

We work under meteorological conditions and in accordance with the port captain's instructions.

We also have private events with your dinner selections, charters for rent and you can spend the night on board!

~US$70 per person isn't all that extravagant.

I think it would be fun to try it, we might.

But I would probably end up choosing between that and bucanos as our pricey meal
