Beautiful day offshore Beaufort, NC wreck diving aboard SeaQuest II from Discovery Diving.

Saturday we dove the Schurz and Aeolus. Seas less than 1-2',

Schurz is about as pretty as I've seen it in years. Lots of fish, slight current on the wreck. Water temps mid 70's; Vis 75' or better.
1-2 sand tigers on the wreck, lionfish, spotted morays, cocoa damselfish, grouper, black bass, amberjacks, barracuda, belted sandfish, bandtail pufferfish, southern stingray, cobia, queen angelfish.

Aeolus - Stern Section: Water temp 73-74, Vis 50-75', No sharks, barracuda, amberjacks, sheepshead, black bass, cocoa damselfish, queen angelfish, grouper.

Sunday- Seas picked up a little and current increased a little. Seas 2'

Papoose-Stern Section: Vis 75', slight current on wreck, Water temp 75-76. Nice dive. A few sand tigers and a pesky nosy bull shark to keep everyone on their toes!!

Schurz: Almost a mirror copy from Saturday except for a slight increase in current.

All in all it was a beautiful weekend to be diving offshore NC.
