Hello everyone!
I noticed that there were some cancellations on the beaches today. That was sad to hear! I went on the Riviera today with the Galland family. We visited Deadman's Reef and followed up with a dive at the north of Salt Creek. We watched those big beautiful waves slam the beaches too!
Figured I would give you a report of the conditions. Yes, it was a bit surgy, but it was manageable. Visibility held out at 10 feet through both dives. We checked out Dead Henge and the monument and then skirted Deadman's for 41 minutes at 38 feet.
Salt Creek was full of hidden crevices...I found ten lobsters scattered about and thought they were pretty good size. Of course, they'll know that October 2nd is coming and get out of the way soon enough
That dive was at 42 feet max and we hung out for 36 minutes.
The water was hovering at 61 degrees too. Which is rather warm for this time of year. But, I was fine with that!
So, I said all that to tell you that the diving was great and I couldn't have done it without the Riviera crew.
Tomorrow we are doing a 1 p.m. Riviera to the A. C. E. wreck, we have four spots open and we have a ton of camera and video guys on board. So, expect to see some this week!
