Hi all,

I will be staying on the beach this weekend and was wondering if doing a beach dive around pier 60 or off the beach is worth the effort to drag my gear with me.

I don't want to take a charter but I can easily slip away for an hour or so to dive the beach. I'll be staying just south of the beach near the rocks and the channel. I could drop in the gulf or inland side.

Ive never been to clearwater beach so I don't know what to expect. Is doing a beach dive off of clearwater beach worth the time?

There isn't anything to see off clearwater beach that I have ever heard of. There is a nice 70+ foot hole off Howard park, its about 20 minutes north of clearwater.

III - Could you tell me a little more about this 70+ foot hole?

PM sent Ben

Any who wants info on this I will gladly give it up, on the condition that you don't shoot the grouper living in there. I love to spearfish but these guys are like pets.
