The Beach Crabs would like to invite everyone to our weekly Night Dive. We will have it this week on Wed, Feb 6th.

Place: Corral Beach
Time: 7:00pm

Make sure you bring 3 lights. 1 primary, 1 back-up, and a tank light or glowstick. This dive is an easy access, easy entry, and when the conditions are right, an excellent dive, with lots to see!

There is info in the Beach Crab's sub-forum.

Thanks,
Rick

Eh, not so good.....

So the three of us showed up within 15 minutes of each other which was great. We checked out the site and Rick gave us the site briefing. After we all geared up and got in the water the waves started to roll in and unfortunately Rick lost his fin. Not sure if he found it or not, but he called the dive and went to scour the shore to see if rolled up. Hopefully so! Tom and I continued the dive, but not being familiar with the site I didn't want to venture to far, which upon descending was a good idea since the vis was less than 5' and the silt was so thick I couldn't track him from more than 3' away. Tom got a hold of one short bug, and I got a short one and a legal one. Unfortunately I didn't have a bag and as I was handing the bug off he decided he didn't have an urge to become dinner and bolted:) So with three shore dives done the count is two mask and one fin, guess I need some more practice ;) Anyone know if this weekend's dive is advisable in doubles? I need to get some training dives in. See you this weekend!
