We’re building something extraordinary: a next generation dive mask with an integrated computer and heads-up display (HUD) designed to keep divers safer, more aware, and fully in the flow.

But the best innovations start with the people who use them.

That’s why we’re asking YOU, the divers, adventurers, photographers, professionals, and weekend warriors, to help shape what features matter most!

Take a moment to vote on what you would love to see in the future of diving gear. Your feedback will directly influence how the next generation of RHEO Dive technology is built.

Let’s build the future of diving together.

Hey all! I'm part of the Rheo Dive team and will be reading all of your comments.

Thank you in advance!

Thank you! We are very excited to move to the next phase of development. We will be releasing our website later this week with more information. I hope you will sign up for email updates so I can share the latest and greatest (should be around 1 email a month and of course we never sell your information)

I will be signing up for more info. Best of luck!

It definitely needs to be compatible with prescription lenses.
Interesting! Thank you for the feedback. This should be very feasible as the lens will be user replaceable. We will make sure we source a supplier than can provide custom prescriptions.

It looks like your current plan is to build the system into a dive mask like the Oceanic DataMask.

Since < 5% (1 of 20) of masks fit my face well enough to make diving a reasomable experience, I will probably not end up able to be a user.

#1 on my list would be a mask-agnostic display.

Riffing off of @Lostdiver71 's comment, easy diopter adjustment for the HUD display (like on the viewfinder of many cameras - "good" DSLRs at least) would be very helpful.

Pretty much drop a Shearwater Teric (with its ring compass and heading bug, MH8A tansmitter compatability, layout, algorithm, etc.) "in front of" MY mask and I'd be a pretty happy camper!

You might be better off designing a hud that would clamp on to the top of any mask instead of a full mask design. That would open up a much larger market as many of us are picky about the mask that we use. For instance I have been using the same mask design almost exclusively for the last 40 years until I switched to the Scubapro HUD a couple of weeks ago and had a limited selection of compatible masks to choose from. You could probably design a universal clamp that would work with most masks that have a frame and a separate mount for full face masks.

Thank you JD. As an engineer I love a good edge case LOL.

The DataMask was great while it was in production and i know several users that are still babying theirs to continue working.

We will certainly keep the diopter adjustment in mind, thank you for the great point!
