How many of you really know how the dive time charts work. I have a dive computer and I seem to have forgotten how to use them. NOTE: my battery in my computer gets changed every year if it needs it or not.

i had to remember it really quickly when my gf asked me about it when she was taking her class last weekend.

talk about embarrasing :)

The tables I can still work out no problem and don't seem to forget it anymore, even if I don't use them. Now the wheel is a different story, guess you really have to use it regularly in order not to forget.

I use dive tables on pretty much every dive.

After diving for 12 years my wife and i decided to do our advanced class this past spring, we had to do tables. No problem. But i just bought a computer at the beginning of this season so i have been doing tables for the last twelve years. So season 13 was done on a computer.

Yes, I can still work tables.

I use tables (and past experience) for planning dives and then moniter those dives with the aide of my computer. My computer will not plan multiple dives (it will only do the next dive bases on the current nitrogen/oxygen load). How do you do your dive planninjg for a multi-dive day?

Yes i do,
After a while not using it i need a few mn trainning to be confortable.
I think the dive planners, specialy the wheel are easy to use.
