hello there, I have a Dacor Enduro Bcd, it was cheap one I got in thailand in 2007, about E160,it has payed for itself as i worked there as a divemaster for almost 1 year, very simple Bcd but perfect for using every day,the only problem is recently i was on dive trip to the sipadan and i noticed it has started to leak, some small some large bubbles appearing along the top seam,(they were smaller before) its still probably fine for another 100 dives, but i would like to know the best way of fixing this, would i use aquasure glue or some other kind of sealant? it looks like some good product run along the seam might do the trick, I cant afford to buy new one at the moment, and there is still some life left in my dacor,

anyone any help please?

Find some dow corning marine 4200 or 5200 and apply it after the bc is completely dry for best seal. It is about $5.00 a tube in the US and available in WalMart (boating / marine section) and most hardware stores. You should be able to find it where you are. Aqua seal has a limited life and tends to peel off on its own. This stuff is its own patch and no other material is needed.

I find that the right mix of Aquaseal and Cotol can fix almost anything, a thinner mix (more cotol), will soak into the pores of the fabric more, and have less of a tendency to peel, but it will require a few extra layers.
