BCD dump valve replacement

So I convinced a friend who works with me to join me on a diving trip, he was already trained but have not been diving for a couple of years.

So when we checked his BCD, the first pull on the dump valve, broke it to pieces

The same with the LPI hose connection.

Today I've replaced both with new ones that I orderd from scuba-fix and it seems like a good product

Curious to know if some of you have done this type of repair and what is your thoughts

So I tested it today in water and found no leaks,

Will do a field test this weekend and see how ot goes...
