Once in awhile I'm someplace that puts something in the rinse tank, like on the last day of a liveaboard some will do this. Other than that my BC just gets a thorough freshwater rinse in and out. I had my last BC about 12 years and there were no leaks or other signs of crud damage.

Thanks, I think I will use some mouth wash inside the BC and wash the wet suit in some baby shampoo.

I do have some of that 'potion' you can pour into your BC and 'swish around' and so forth. It surely can't hurt, and some folks say they use listerine and such. I have spent alot of money on my gear, so when it comes to a small bottle of shampoo, I'll go ahead and use it, but only when it's convenient! Other wise I just give it a nice wash.

Back to topic, I have also seen, as was previously suggested, that mouthwash was effective for inside the BC.
IMHO The mouthwash will do the trick.
The idea of mouth wash is to kill germs in your mouth, so why not in a BC :D
so it must work:huh:
