BC Knives

I work at a hospital and we have knives used to cut clothes off patients in emergencies, similiar to the ones to cut tape off of athletes ankles. Does anyone know if these would this rust in salt water? They would work great to put in a BC if they did not

The blades on mine are not rusting. The pin/rivet holding the two halves together is. I will be drilling it out and replacing it with SS hardware, likely a small bolt and nylock nut.

Pivot rings eventually rust through on mine so i need to buy a new pair every year or so.
