This little guy hitched a ride on my BC yesterday at Vet's. Anyone know what he is?

Looks like that thing that crawled into people's ears in Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan!!!

Or the one that crawled into Neo's bellybutton. It's a tracking bug... Welcome to the Matrix.

No, definitely Wrath of Khan.

He does look a bit like that thing from "Khan", but not quite. That would be a Ceti Eel.

(Now how is it I know what a "Ceti Eel is and not this thing?! :dork2:)

I've got one of those followed me up before while diving at Catalina. One of the other divers said that it was a "shrimp" of some sort. Doesn't look like a shrimp but more like the Regulan blood worm out of Chekov's ear.

A ScubaBoard Staff Message...

moved to name that critter...

It is an Eelgrass Isopod Idotea resecata or Pentidotea resecata

Sorry, alien life form did sound cooler.

here's a picture of a related Isopod in my cold water system
