Hey everyone! This is my first post on Scubaboard.com, and I hope I'll be able to contribute to the community in the coming weeks and months. For now, I need some advice on the purchase of a new BC.
I've been diving for about 11 years now and have steadily upgraded my equipment along the way. The only "original" piece of equipment I still own from my first days as a diver is my Cressi-Sub BC. It's obviously an older model, and although it still works fine, I'd like to get into something new. My preference is for a high-performance vest-style BC with an integrated weight system. My instructor is a big fan of Zeagle and is always trying to sell me one, but all of Zeagle's BCs are back-inflation, which isn't my thing.
Any insight, advice, and/or recommendations would be much appreciated. I'd love to know eveyone's opinions on manufacturers, models, important features, etc. Cost is the only thing that isn't a major factor, since I do want a relatively high-end model and I realize that this will likely come with a high price.
