5615Mike, you're comparing two different plates. A regular 6# B/P is made of 11 gauge SST, i.e. $84-99 (unfinished/finished). $176 is a heavy B/P which is a lot more stainless steel...

I know one or two that have gone from BP/W to TPII's, but they are the exception. Fortunately for me, it resulted in me getting a huge deal on my rig...DivesWithTurtle:Opinions vary. No doubt about it. I have no interest in swaying anyone's opinion. But what I've noticed about BC opinions:
1. Some people use and like jackets.
2. Some people use and like Back Inflation BCs (Zeagle and the like).
3. Some people use and like BP/Wings.
4. Nearly everyone who is using BP/Wings have previously used one or both of the other two types.
5. Nobody (that I've noticed) that has used a BP/Wings go back to the other types.
I could be wrong...
